And the pictures? They are so detailed and wonderful that you just want to sit and study them, before turning the page….each drawing matches the words in the most literal way, enhancing the experience for the child. Book review on

I cannot complete this review without a special shout-out to the illustrator, Darrell Mordecai. Through the use of super fun, exaggerated graphics, he really helped bring the story to life. They are Dr. Suess esque and make the book really fun to read. DS2 (age 3) doesn’t have the patience to listen to such long books, but was able to sit and look at all the detailed pictures while I read. Book review by Happily

In 2014 I published my first book, ”Imagine If…” working with Darrell as an illustrator. When I first approached him with my idea to start a series of childrens books all I had was an idea of what I wanted it to look like, but not an actual style decided. With Darrell’s creativity and experience (and relaxed personality…) he managed to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Rabbi Zeegel Children’s book author

I have worked with Darrell Mordecai the past 2 1/2 years on forty plus books. His talent is beyond words. Each illustration was better than the previous and shows his passion and creativity with every drawing. He is professional and a joy to work with. I would not think of writing a book without Darrell as the illustrator. Patrice Gendelman Children’s book author
